1. Purpose Of The Connection Hub

The Connection Hub is a community discovery platform intended to help people find events, activities, groups, organizations, places, programs, and other opportunities in Cache Valley.

The Connection Hub gathers and organizes information from multiple sources so that community information can be easier to discover and use.

We do not guarantee that every available event, activity, business, group, organization, place, or program will be included.

2. Information May Change

Community information changes frequently.

Dates, times, prices, locations, availability, registration requirements, age requirements, cancellation status, business status, and other information may change after publication.

Users should confirm important details with the official organizer, organization, venue, provider, or source before relying on the information.

3. Third-Party Information

Some information displayed by The Connection Hub comes from third-party sources.

These may include:

  • official websites
  • public calendars
  • APIs
  • feeds
  • directories
  • organizations
  • public submissions
  • other permitted sources

The Connection Hub is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality, safety, quality, availability, or conduct of third-party organizations, events, businesses, places, groups, activities, or services.

A listing does not necessarily constitute endorsement.

4. Source Links

Where practical, The Connection Hub may provide links to original or authoritative sources.

Users should use official links for registration, ticket purchases, reservations, official policies, current operating information, and other time-sensitive details.

5. No Guarantee Of Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Features may be:

  • modified
  • suspended
  • limited
  • temporarily unavailable

We may perform maintenance or make changes to improve security, reliability, or functionality.

Certain features may require an account.

Users are responsible for:

  • providing accurate information
  • maintaining the security of their credentials
  • protecting account access
  • notifying us of suspected unauthorized access
  • complying with account rules and permissions

Accounts may be suspended, restricted, or terminated for misuse, abuse, fraud, security concerns, or violations of these Terms.

7. Age Requirement

Account-based features and memberships are intended for users age 18 or older.

The Connection Hub may contain listings for family-friendly or youth-oriented activities, but account creation and membership access are intended for adults.

8. Memberships And Visitor Passes

The Connection Hub may offer paid memberships, visitor passes, or other optional paid features.

Membership may provide convenience features such as enhanced discovery tools, advanced search, or other benefits.

Basic public community information may remain available without membership.

Specific membership benefits, prices, duration, renewal terms, and cancellation terms will be presented at the time of purchase.

9. Payments And Contributions

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers.

Users agree to provide accurate payment-related information.

Contributions or donations to The Connection Hub are generally intended to support operation and development of the platform unless otherwise stated.

A contribution should not be assumed to be tax-deductible unless explicitly identified as such.

10. Organization Claims And Management

Organizations may be able to claim or manage listings.

Users requesting organization-management access must be authorized to represent the organization.

The Connection Hub may require verification.

Claim approval does not guarantee that every requested change will be published.

We may review changes for:

  • accuracy
  • conflicts
  • safety
  • source authority
  • site standards
  • legal concerns

We may revoke organization-management access if authorization is withdrawn, inaccurate, abused, or disputed.

11. Submissions

Users may be permitted to submit:

  • events
  • organizations
  • places
  • activities
  • groups
  • programs
  • corrections
  • links
  • descriptions
  • other community information

Submitting information does not guarantee publication.

The Connection Hub may:

  • review
  • edit
  • format
  • classify
  • reject
  • archive
  • remove
  • combine
  • correct

submitted content.

Users must have the right to provide submitted content.

Do not submit unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, infringing, malicious, misleading, or unauthorized content.

12. License For Submitted Content

By submitting content intended for publication, you grant The Connection Hub permission to use, reproduce, format, organize, display, distribute, and adapt that content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the platform.

You retain ownership of content you own.

You represent that you have authority to submit the content.

13. Canonical Records And Editorial Control

The Connection Hub may combine information from multiple sources into a single canonical record.

We may determine:

  • which information is displayed
  • how information is categorized
  • which source is considered more authoritative
  • whether conflicting information requires review
  • whether a record should be archived or marked inactive

A source-provided value does not automatically override verified or administratively confirmed information.

14. Community Listings Are Not Endorsements

Listing an organization, business, event, group, activity, place, or program does not mean The Connection Hub:

  • endorses it
  • sponsors it
  • guarantees it
  • verifies every claim
  • accepts responsibility for it

Users participate in community activities at their own discretion and risk.

15. Safety

Users are responsible for evaluating whether an event, activity, organization, place, group, or other opportunity is appropriate for them or their family.

The Connection Hub does not guarantee:

  • physical safety
  • suitability
  • supervision
  • accessibility
  • legality
  • quality
  • background checks
  • professional licensing
  • insurance coverage

unless specifically stated.

16. External Links

The Connection Hub may link to third-party websites or services.

We are not responsible for third-party:

  • content
  • security
  • privacy practices
  • availability
  • transactions
  • policies

Use of third-party sites is subject to their own terms.

17. Advertising And Sponsored Content

The Connection Hub may display advertisements, sponsorships, promoted listings, or other paid promotional content.

Paid placement does not necessarily constitute endorsement.

Where appropriate, promotional content may be identified as advertising, sponsored, promoted, or similar.

Advertisers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their advertising content.

18. Analytics And Reports

The Connection Hub may collect and analyze platform usage in order to improve the service, understand community interests, measure engagement, and create aggregated reports.

Aggregated reports may be used for:

  • organization analytics
  • advertising
  • presentations
  • community planning
  • Development Hub planning
  • business or city discussions
  • internal decision-making

Analytics should not be interpreted as guarantees of future performance.

19. Development Hub

The Development Hub may support community-development projects, collaboration, programs, events, partnerships, or other initiatives.

Submitting an idea, proposal, interest form, or collaboration request does not create a contract or obligation.

Specific collaborations may require separate written agreements.

20. Intellectual Property

The Connection Hub website, branding, logos, design, software, database structure, organization, presentation, analytics systems, reports, and original content may be protected by intellectual-property and other applicable laws.

Third-party names, trademarks, content, and logos remain the property of their respective owners.

21. Public Information Vs. The Connection Hub Database

Individual facts displayed on The Connection Hub may be publicly available from other sources.

However, The Connection Hub’s compilation, organization, categorization, relationships, taxonomy, presentation, discovery tools, analytics, database structure, and systematic aggregation represent substantial investment and are part of The Connection Hub’s service.

Public visibility of individual information does not grant permission to copy or reproduce the platform as a competing database or service.

22. Automated Access, Scraping, And Systematic Extraction

Unless expressly authorized in writing, users may not use automated means to systematically extract, scrape, harvest, crawl, copy, enumerate, download, or reconstruct substantial portions of The Connection Hub.

Prohibited activity may include:

  • high-volume automated requests
  • systematic traversal of listings
  • sequential enumeration
  • database reconstruction
  • bulk extraction
  • circumvention of rate limits
  • circumvention of access controls
  • automated access designed to reproduce the platform’s discovery functionality
  • redistribution of substantial portions of the compiled database

Ordinary use by legitimate search engines consistent with published crawling rules may be permitted.

We may monitor, throttle, challenge, restrict, or block automated activity.

23. No Public Content Api

The Connection Hub does not provide a public third-party content API.

Any internal or first-party application endpoints are provided for operation of The Connection Hub and its authorized applications.

The existence of such endpoints does not grant permission for third-party automated use.

24. No External Bulk Data Export

The Connection Hub does not offer external bulk export of its canonical database as a general product feature.

Authorized internal administrative exports may exist for:

  • operations
  • analysis
  • backup
  • migration
  • accounting
  • compliance

Such internal capabilities do not create a right to obtain the underlying database.

25. Sharing

Users may share public canonical Connection Hub pages using normal links or supported sharing tools.

Sharing a page does not grant permission to:

  • embed unrestricted feeds
  • recreate the service
  • republish substantial portions of the database
  • bypass access controls

26. Member Features Do Not Authorize Harvesting

A membership, visitor pass, organization account, advertiser account, or other paid relationship does not grant permission to systematically extract or reproduce The Connection Hub database.

Paid access remains subject to reasonable rate limits, security controls, and these Terms.

27. Prohibited Use

Users may not:

  • violate applicable law
  • interfere with site operation
  • bypass technical restrictions

  • systematically harvest data
  • reproduce substantial portions of the platform
  • use the service to harm others
  • probe or attack restricted systems

28. Administrative And Security Systems

Administrative tools, internal analytics, monitoring systems, source-management tools, security logs, audit logs, internal notes, and other private operational systems are not public services.

Unauthorized attempts to access them are prohibited.

29. Enforcement

We may respond to misuse by:

  • throttling requests
  • limiting features
  • requiring additional verification
  • temporarily blocking access
  • suspending accounts
  • terminating accounts
  • preserving relevant records
  • taking other reasonable protective measures

30. User-Generated Or Third-Party Disputes

If a listing, submission, organization claim, ownership claim, or correction is disputed, The Connection Hub may temporarily restrict, modify, or place the affected content under review.

We may request evidence before making changes.

31. Errors And Corrections

We welcome corrections.

Users may notify us of inaccurate or outdated information through available contact or correction tools.

We may retain historical or source records even after public information is corrected.

32. No Professional Advice

Information provided through The Connection Hub is for general informational and discovery purposes.

It is not legal, financial, medical, safety, licensing, or other professional advice.

33. Limitation Of Warranties

The Connection Hub is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis to the extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee that:

  • information is complete

To the extent permitted by law, The Connection Hub and its owners, operators, affiliates, and service providers are not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages arising from use of the service or reliance on third-party information.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

The current version will be posted on the site with an updated effective date.

Continued use after updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.

38. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law is required to apply.

Venue and dispute provisions should be reviewed and finalized with legal counsel.

39. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions should remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
