About The Connection Hub
Cache Valley is full of things happening every day. Concerts, classes, performances, recreation, community events, clubs, workshops, volunteer opportunities, and countless other ways to get involved are already here.
The problem is that finding them isn't always easy.
Information is spread across individual websites, social media pages, community calendars, businesses, organizations, venues, and word of mouth. Often, finding something means already knowing who offers it or where to look.
We believe discovering your community shouldn't require already knowing where to start.
A Better Starting Point
You don't need to check every calendar. You don't need to follow every organization. And you don't need to know exactly what you're looking for.
The Connection Hub is being built as a starting point for exploring Cache Valley.
See what's happening. Find something to do. Discover people who share your interests. And when something catches your attention, we'll help connect you to the people and organizations making it happen.
The goal isn't to replace the incredible organizations, businesses, groups, and people already creating opportunities across the valley. It's to make those opportunities easier to find.
Built Around Discovery
Most community information is organized around the people providing it.
A library has its calendar. A university has its calendar. A theater has its schedule. A recreation department has its programs. A local business has its social media page.
That makes sense for the organizations sharing the information—but it isn't necessarily how people look for something to do.
You might not be looking for a particular organization. You might be looking for live music. A hiking group. Somewhere to play games. An art class. A volunteer opportunity. Something your kids would enjoy. Or simply something happening Saturday night.
That's why The Connection Hub starts with the person looking.
We're working to organize opportunities around interests, activities, audiences, locations, and the other things that actually matter when deciding what you want to do.
Discover activities, interests, experiences, and opportunities that fit you.
Connect with groups, communities, and people who share those interests.
Find the places and communities where you can participate, contribute, and belong.
Focused on Home
The Connection Hub isn't meant to be another massive event platform trying to cover everywhere.
We're building it specifically around Cache Valley—our communities, our organizations, our interests, and the ways people here connect.
That local focus allows us to pay attention to opportunities that might disappear inside a larger platform: the community theater production, the library workshop, the weekly game night, the local hiking group, the fundraiser, the small concert, or the organization you've never heard of before.
And we're still building.
As The Connection Hub grows, we want the people who use it and the organizations that make Cache Valley what it is to help shape what it becomes.
This is a community resource, and we want to build it with the community in mind.
